About the LOGO

At first glance you might have thought this logo was a flower; if you did you’re not alone. At second glance you will see it is a circle of paper dolls, boy/girl, boy/girl, boy/girl holding hands in a circle. It is a clear symbol of people playing together. And that is what The Konsela Cousin Gathering is all about.

A logo is a symbol designed to represent an organization, school, company or any group event such as ours. The purpose of a logo is to attract attention, identify who it represents at a glance and convey feelings and information immediately. Once you know what it represents, you will recognize our logo immediately. You now know this beautifully stylized arrangement of playful paper dolls in a circle means coming together of the Konsela cousins.

Our logo carries with it a message and a feeling. We often heard relatives say, "It's nice to see you; too bad it has to be at a funeral..." Today there is no funeral, wedding, anniversary, only a gathering of cousins. In this case our logo represents the day we come together just for the fun of it.

Someone commented of this symbol: "My goodness, what a way to show unity and goodwill among all family members!” What a comment and compliment! And what an appropriate logo for this occasion!
